What a Way is thankful to partner in the care and support of church workers with LCMS World Relief and Human Care which provides "Soldiers of the Cross" financial assistance in times of crisis due to being laid off, cut-back or another personal setback not uncommon in the current economic environment.
Neither are veteran retired workers forgotten, especially those with below poverty level retirement benefits.Through the "Veterans of the Cross" ministry fund, the retired worker's or widow's often meager benefits are supplemented to a level that provides them with, at least, the basic survival needs.
